Your fairy guide to finding radical soul care

I discovered the healing powers of Yoga when I was going through therapy after a traumatic experience that happened in my workplace and was related to discrimination.

I had never been in contact with Yoga before besides some videos I’ve seen around, but when I was looking for ways to heal my soul from being hurt, angered and deceived by the world around me, something happened.

Linking my body with my breath in these positions that have been handed down from millennia slowly made me connect with the deeper parts of my being. It caused that emotional healing: I was suddenly feeling whole again. I was feeling ready.

The transformation that Yoga gave me was something deep, something that could be defined “spiritual” in the sense that is totally above and beyond the mundane problems of everyday life, a moment of pure peace and joy that can be accessed everyday after a bit of practice.

That was my breakthrough moment and since then I’ve decided that Yoga would remain part of my life forever, a part that I want to share with others.

That’s why I started digging deep into all the uses for Yoga in modern society, learning how such an ancient technique can be adapted for the everyday life and problems of our society.

In the space of 2 years I got two certifications and became a teacher.

I specialized in Yoga for Pregnant Women, Yoga for Trauma Healing, Somatic Yoga Therapy, Kemetic Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga.

Somatic Yoga Therapy

Prental Yoga: Prenatal yoga is a gentle and safe practice that focuses on nurturing the connection between the mother, baby, and body. By incorporating stretching, breathing techniques, and mindful movements, prenatal yoga helps mothers to prepare for the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy, while also promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.
Mothers will be guided through modified yoga poses that are designed to support the unique needs of pregnancy, such as alleviating back pain and improving circulation. Prenatal yoga can also help mothers to manage stress and anxiety, promoting a sense of calm and balance during what can be a challenging and transformative time and also to cultivate a sense of peace and joy in the journey of pregnancy.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a powerful practice and slower paced than other forms of yoga. Yin Yoga allows the body to open up deeper into the “yin” (female) joints, ligaments, and tissues of the body. Yin calms and balances the mind and body. This yoga is for the brave, as an individual will be in the poses for a longer time, about 1-3 minutes for beginners. Yin is the practice of checking in with yourself instead of checking out and being okay with the stillness that is present. The effects of the yin practice are physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
